Fun Size Review: Don’t Change Your Husband (1919)

One of Cecil B. DeMille’s famous bedroom comedies. Elliott Dexter is a boor who drives away his wife, Gloria Swanson, by smoking cigars and munching onions.

Realizing that he has lost the best thing that ever happened to him, Elliott mends his ways in order to win her back. However, Gloria has already married a he-vamp. What can Elliott do now? Why, out-sheik the sheik, of course! Has its moments but is clunkier than most DeMille work of the period.

How does it end? Hover or tap below for a spoiler.

The plan works. The he-vamp proves himself to be a cad and the erstwhile spouses are reunited.

If it were a dessert it would be: Swiss Swirl Ice Cream Cake. Nothing from scratch and way too fussy. A little goes a long way.
