A by-the-numbers nickelodeon era adaptation of the world’s most famous au naturel ride. This Vitagraph picture is mostly notable for its rather enthusiastic cast, including a truly lascivious Peeping Tom.
While it’s not the most daring version of this tale– the ride is accomplished via nude-colored body stocking– it was a critical and commercial success and so it represents the kind of movie audiences of the time wanted to see.
