Arrrr, mateys! Piratical goings-on meet the Jazz Age in this perfectly deranged comedy. Rod La Rocque is the descendant of a famed pirate who must marry or lose his inheritance. Mildred Harris is an heiress who has the only copy of a will written on her back. Snitz Edwards is in pursuit armed with a sponge. Told you it was nuts.
The cast has a grand time with their over-the-top characters and the surreal plot. I guarantee that you have never seen anything like it!
How does it end? Hover or tap below for a spoiler.
Snitz scrubs Mildred’s back but the will was transferred to a door. Door in hand, Rod and Mildred marry as the United States Navy bombs their ship. Sorry, takes too long to explain.
If it were a dessert it would be: Chocolate Cake Shots. Contains no chocolate and yet is full of chocolatey goodness. Tipsy, weird and enormously fun.

I don’t know if reading your review is funnier than the movie, since I haven’t yet seen it, But I can say I kept laughing out loud as I read – thanks for that pleasure ! I look forward to seeing this movie.
Thank you so much! I can assure you that the movie is even better 😀
I just watched this on youtube. Hilarious. I love Rod La Rocque. Every time he adjusted his belt, I totally lost it!! (I would have paid big money to oil his body for the towel scenes.)
Isn’t he a scream? Glad you enjoyed!
