Theme Month! October 2019: Free for All

So, this is something a little different for me. After my health scare and reexamination of my website priorities, I have decided that I am going to give myself a little breather and just review whatever tickles my fancy in October.

This means that the weather is cloudy with a chance of French because I am just wild about early French cinema. (All French cinema is my cup of tea, truth be told.) But mostly, just odds and ends that I have been wanting to cover. I am keeping things loose here.

I toyed with the idea of ending theme months but I decided that I wanted to keep them. I feel that they force me to dig into the dustier corners of silent cinema and emerge with some hidden gems.

Anyway, I hope you have fun with this more relaxed month and find plenty of wonderful silent film discoveries.

Glad you’re well. I’m toying with the idea of ordering L’Argent, it looks the bees knees!
Are you affected by the current wild fires?

Not by the fires themselves but a decent part of the area was without power due to the blackouts. Fortunately, I live away from where most of the fires start so I kept my power on.
