Whew! That was an adventure! But the site has successfully migrated to its new host and we can now resume our usual shenanigans, including commenting.
I will be continuing to refine the look of the site and there may be some issues with images for a while but other than that, we are bright-eyed and bushy-tailed here at Movies Silently.
And in other good news, my hemoglobin has doubled and I am feeling loads better so I hope this means I can resume some of the projects I had to temporarily lay aside. I won’t be announcing anything yet because I am paranoid and, frankly, don’t want to jinx myself but I am optimistic.
I hope you are all doing well and weathering the pandemic. I have been trying to share information about free silent movies and a kind reader pointed a new one out to me, Henri from the Cinémathèque française.
There doesn’t seem to be a region lock, I was able to access it just fine from California.
Thank you for your patience! Now let’s get back to the business of celebrating silent films!
