Welcome to the happiest blogathon of the year! Participants are going to be sharing their favorite happy films, recipes and movie memories. Pull up a chair and stay a while! I will be updating this post throughout the event.
The last part of 2015 and the first part of this year were pretty hellish. Without going into too much detail, a friend who had been battling illness for years finally entered hospice care and then passed away. Mourning takes many forms and I decided this event would be a fitting tribute. Spreading good cheer is a worthy cause for anyone, don’t you think?
I always encourage readers to leave comments on participating blogs but, in the spirit of spreading good cheer, I want to specially ask everyone to leave a kind word or two. Some of the participants are taking part in their first blogathon so make them welcome. Longstanding participants also enjoy hearing positive feedback so be sure to click that “comment” button if you read something you like.
Participants: Send me links to your posts and I will add you to the roster. Looking forward to reading everyone’s stuff!
Bloggers will review and celebrate movies that make them happy when they’re blue.
