Help Wanted: You choose my recipe

As some of you may already know, March is going to be a month of reader requests. You tell me the movies you want me to review and I will select four or five and review them. It’s always fun and a great way to expand my horizons and check out movies I might have otherwise overlooked.

In that spirit, I have decided to also allow my readers to choose the recipe I will prepare. I have gathered a small selection of superstars and more obscure players with interesting culinary choices and you will have the final say in whose recipe will be prepared.

Lon Chaney’s recipe is for bread, Mary Pickford and Charlie Chaplin both have a dessert, Marie Prevost and Edward Everett Horton have salads, fruit and veggie respectively. (Well, if you call tomatoes a veggie, which I do. Let’s not start this one again.)

Here is the poll:

Vote for your favorite and I will announce the winner next week!

  1. Voted for Lon Chaney because I am in love with him. Hope he doesn’t break my heart by including aspic or any other equally horrifying ingredient in his recipe. ๐Ÿ˜›

  2. Chaney for me. If he couldn’t make bread correctly, it probably ended up as makeup and not as classic sammich material. In English: I hope for the best, but yes, I’d pay real money to see you wearing a dough mask at some point. “They call me Quasi-dough-doh!”

  3. As much as I love Lon Chaney, I had to pick sweet Marie. Hoping the recipe isn’t heavy on the marshmallow. ๐Ÿ˜€
